"It was a tough day from start to finish," NIU head coach Pam Tyska said. "We didn't manage the conditions and the course very well. So far, the preparation and the state that they were in ready to play, we haven't seen that in most of our players. We are looking forward to get them into their comfort zone. We need to just stay focused on each shot and stay focused on what they need to do to have better course management."

Defending champions Kent State continues to lead shooting an 897 after three rounds of play. Kent State's Kirby Dreher leads the field after shooting a 222 (74-74-74). Teammate Tara Delaney moved into second, two shots off the lead after turning in a 75 in the third round.

The final round begins Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 8 a.m. Eastern Time, with the competitors playing 18 holes. To follow all the action of the 2008 MAC Women's Golf Championships Click Here
