2008 Highlights: (Cross Country) Finished as the No. 1 Huskie in four races... recorded a personal best time and finish at the 5k George Dales Invite (10/12/07), where she finished fifth with a time of 18:29.12... placed in the top half of the field in all but one race... opened her collegiate career as the No. 2 Huskie with a 16th place finish at the Bradley Invitational (9/7/07)... placed 38th at the MAC Championships (10/27/07) with a time of 18:50.9... recorded a career-best 6k time of 22:10 at the NCAA Midwest Regionals (11/10/07).

High School: Enjoyed a record breaking career at Riley High School... after being named team captain her senior season, she earned 1st team all-conference and 2nd team all-state... those accolades helped her receive the sportsmanship award and team MVP... Shaw left Riley as the school record holder in the 4k, 3200m, 1600m, 800m 4x800m relay and 4x400m relay.
